Introduction...
Scott brings the err Scottish vibe to Board 4 Life (rather appropriately). Yes, you can ride real out door snow in Britain at one of the five Scottish resort. In fact we had a great trip up there at Easter 2006 taking in Glencoe and Aviemore. If I lived north of the boarder I'd be doing exactly what Scott is, which is getting onto the Scottish snow whenever he can.

The latest news from Scott is that he will be heading to Whistler for the best part of three months in 2008, working on instructor qualifications no less.

So who, how, what got you started with snowboarding? My parents took me to Nevis range When I was 12 and haven't stopped since then

What's your current board setup? 165cm Wall board, Freestyle bindings, Bigair boa boots

And what stance/angles do you ride with? Goofy,14,3

What do you most love about snowboarding? Meeting new people and learning new tricks

Have you been in many competitions? 1 so far and came 3rd in under 18s

Are you more of a freestyler or freerider? Freestyle but love freeriding

Where have you most recently been riding? France and Nevis Range

What are your plans for next year? Going to Canada for 12 week snowboard course

* Trick? BS 360 melon

* Resort? Livingo, Italy

* Saying? Yeah boi.

* Snowboarding memory? Landing BS 540 for first time

* Drink? Coca cola

 

Had any particularly bad slams? France 2007, bailed on kinked rail and landed on ribs!!

How do you think your riding has progressed over the last couple of years? A lot in freestyle

Is there anything you don't like about snowboarding? Skiers being on the same mountain haha

What advice would you give to someone who's thinking about taking up riding? Don’t get annoyed if you fall a couple of times because when you get it you don’t forget it !!!

What interests other than snowboarding do you have? Skateboarding

What music are you into? Punk/Rock

What are your aims for the future? By 2009 I'll hopefully be a snowboard instructor
