Affiliation
For
several years now we have supplied a number of riders with some of our
gear, by means of sponsorship. This has been an experiment on our part and
we have come to the conclusion that what we have previously offered has
not worked for us (hence why we have changed this page from 'sponsorship'
to 'affiliation'). We believe we may still be able
to offer riders something but we will require more than we have before.
Please read the below before e-mailing us, as we will not respond to
riders who have not taken the time to understand what we are able to
offer.

What we are offering
- We will offer current product for you to buy at a much
reduced rate
- If you are able to sell these items, or prove to us that
you have generated sales for us, then we will be able to provide you with a
more conventional sponsorship where we give you free clothing, pay
competition fees etc.
- If you are not able to sell the items then (providing they
are undamaged) we will be happy to buy them back from you. All P&P costs
will be born by you.
- In essence we are in a position where we any sponsorship we
offer needs to be commercially viable for us; if you can generate income for
us then you will be rewarded.
What we are after
- You need to like the designs and products that Board 4 Life
has. The best way to prove this to us is if you are an existing customer.
- You need to be of a reasonable snowboarding standard, we're
not talking the next Shaun White but ideally we would want photos of you
riding that are good enough for marketing images (flyers etc).
- You need to be enthusiastic. This is even more important
than your riding ability, you could be the next Shaun White but if you don't
get Board 4 Life mentioned to people who will buy our gear you're next to
useless for us.
- You need to be involved in the scene enough to be able to
promote us. You could be a regular at one of the indoor domes, a dryslope
local or a seasonaire but you need to be able to push Board 4 Life to fellow
boarders.
Other information
- Ideally (but not essentially) we prefer UK riders as this
is our main market, we are interested where ever in the world you may be but
bear in mind postage costs for all items will be born by you.
- Please be aware sponsorship is not our main priority, so do
not expect an instant reply. This is especially the case around Christmas
and over the winter in general..
